On friday the snow came down and the wind blew it around. Fortunately they let us leave work at 2:00 in order to get home at a decent time. Jamie and I took a bus we don't normally take to Erik's daycare to pick him up. The whole trip took an 1.5 hrs and it usually only takes 20-30 minutes. Last weekend we set up the new Christmas tree. Erik loved to help. This is our first year with a synthetic tree.
He has taken a liking to his new stick that he can hit everything with.
This weekend, we got up early and wrapped gifts for grandma and grandpa and aunty in Ottawa so we could get them mailed off in good time. The drive to the post office and grocery store was difficult. We had to get out and push the car a few times on our own street. Erik really wanted to help with the packing.
He has taken a liking to his new stick that he can hit everything with. Also last weekend, Mormor and Morfar came over before the Grey Cup and we had albeskiver. (a Danish pancake ball) It took Erik awhile to wake up from his nap so he ate a bit later than we did as you can see.
