Val Des Monts

We drove all the way to the Outouais to reach the cottage/cabin/lake. Erik cozied up by the fire. But not too close. We now know he understands "no" because we had to tell him a few times to not get too close to the fireplace. He would look at us first every time he approached it.

Grandpa read Erik a few books. A friend of the family loaned some toys for Erik to play with as well, and we had playpens and highchairs waiting for us everywhere we went which was handy.

Erik loved eating his meals around the table with smiling faces in the middle of the forest.
