We flew to Regina to visit k-e household. Check out their blog to see other weekend updates.

We went to the Science Centre and there was a baby area to play in that Erik really enjoyed.
His Godfather took him around to many of the exhibits. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Sometimes Missy had to have a time out because she would push Erik over taking her toy. We told her to say sorry, but we aren't sure if it is part of her vocabulary yet. Slowly she got used to him being there. We even went out one night and had the babysitter there. Missy got to stay up a bit later while Erik went to bed. Missy kept telling the babysitter "no baby!".
They had their baths together and this went without any problems.
Missy's mommy read them both books.
We went for walks even though the weather was very windy and unseasonably cold.
Missy's mom had some snuggle time with Erik. Both of the kids woke up really early everyday, but they also napped well so the parents had a bit of alone time.

As you can see, Missy (Erik's older friend/cousin ) wasn't very impressed that a baby was invading her space. She would say "no baby!" and take away the toys he picked up. Sometimes she also wanted to help and would bring a baby diaper over for him or help hold his bottle when he was drinking.

When Erik didn't want anymore of his veggies and fruit mush, Missy would actually have the rest of it! Erik tried some of her foods as well.

And what is this? I left Jamie some packaged and homemade food in the freezer for when I was away. I bought this pizza at Superstore thinking it might be interesting and yummy. THIS is what it looked like when it came out the package! Jamie said it was disgusting. Obviously a manufacturing error, or it had been frozen and and then thawed and refrozen. He was very disappointed. He took a photo of it! And then he ate it because he was desperate.
Overall we had a fantastic weekend. Thank you k-e household!

THAT IS DISGUSTING!!
our pizzas were sooo much better!
I liked seeing the photos from the science center, as I was always chasing the toddler. Erik looked like he had fun.
You can see NPE giving his daughter heck in the one photo! Same with on my photos...
