Today we went to a friend of my mother's for tea in the morning. She is also an artist like my mom and Erik really enjoyed looking at all the art in her studio. I wish I had a photo of some of the things Pat makes to show you.
We are bracing ourselves for the upcoming weekend of -20 high. I am thinking we will have a roast in the oven all afternoon while we enjoy each others company inside. Too bad Erik isn't old enough for board games.
Last night Erik tried pureed chicken and he made all the disgusted facial expressions you can imagine. I didn't realize those expressions were natural - I somehow thought they were learned.
Tomorrow, the plan is to meet Kristin at FireEscape, a pottery painting place, and for Jamie to pick Erik up from there and head home without me while I paint with Kristin and her friends. They do this every year before Christmas and this year I was invited. I think I will make a bowl with Erik's name on it. You see how my world is all about my little guy?

In his first photo he is getting all chubby baby cute! I love that age!! I am sad we won't see him at Christmas :( You both will have to come visit us while you are still off :)

They are Missy's overalls! Remember them? Yes Missy had the cute cherubic look at 6 months of age too. I am enjoying this age very much.
Missy is so cute too in what she says now. We must enjoy every age along the way.
Too bad no Christmas together this year. I hope to see you in BC in Feb or Jan or whenever it will be.
