Pablum and Teeth!!

We plan on feeding Erik some Pablum pretty soon. We think he might be ready as when he sees us eat he reaches out and looks at us. In fact, yesterday when I was having lunch with some coworkers downtown, Erik grabbed my spoon for my pasta and brought it to his own mouth and got sauce on his nose. It was very cute. 

Jamie isn't feeling too well today - has has a cold. Most weekends Jamie gets up at 7:00 with Erik and plays with him until around 8:30 when I come down and feed Erik again and we make breakfast together. Today Jamie is back up in bed and I have put Erik down for a nap while I blog and watch the Conservative Convention. 

We will let you know how the feeding goes later! 

Meanwhile, Erik has sprouted two teeth! They are the two bottom ones and they have surfaced above the gums. He seems to be taking it pretty well, although he had a rough night last saturday in Edmonton. In the photo below, if you look closely, you can see the little while pearls. I know it is hard to see in the photo here but I promise they are there!

I tried uploading a video but it isn't working. I will have to try again later. Too bad, I had a cute one with him communicating with his dad.
