Happy Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario family day. I really don't remember what we did last year. Maybe I can check this blog. This year we went for a late breakfast at Lazy Loaf and Kettle. Then we took Erik to Edworthy Park.
It was about 4 degrees out today and at one point it rained. Erik enjoyed playing in the park. He likes to climb up the stairs for the slide, but he doesn't really like going down the slide.
We shared 1 breakfast for all of us, with a side of 1 pancake. There was only one spot left in the place, and it was right below the order window, which was just great for Erik. He has so much to look at. The food coming out, the people ordering at the till, and the servers running from table to table.
Yesterday we went for coffee and then to two toy stores with Erik. I guess it isn't too smart to bring him along as he gets upset if we don't buy him everything he wants. He ended up getting another puzzle by Melissa and Doug, an Aquadoodle (so he doesn't draw all over the house with a real felt pen), and some wooden play food.
