Mormor and Morfar came over for coffee this afternoon. Jamie and I had been to Ikea earlier today and bought two identical couches. We will get them delivered tomorrow. Meanwhile, he has the task of getting everything downstairs.
I suppose having to re-do drywall is better than buying another new couch... but still. Don't worry Grandpa, Jamie will likely have it fixed before your next visit.

The pillows made it downstairs no problem. The couch was a huge problem. We tried every which way with no luck. Finally after Mormor and Morfar left, Jamie moved it down on his own, but the drywall paid the price.

I was not expecting that picture! I can only imagine the tension in your home teeeeheee. My own furniture mover would have been furious and I would have had to leave the house to let him do it himself! Yikes!!
You will like having the basement as a rumpus room. We really like it. Yours is at least carpeted!
hahahaha AMK, your reaction cracks me up. I am too pregnant to care... This is not the only wall with a problem. There are two other walls with holes in the them too.
