Carrie is back from South Africa. She has been there since August. We threw a welcome back brunch for her. Erik was shy at first, but then he really enjoyed sitting at the table with everyone and laughing along with their jokes.
Carrie had all kinds of stories about camping and Safaris and the people of Cape Town.
She shared some videos and photos of lions and other animals she came in close contact with. Erik was very interested.
By 12:30, Erik was way past his naptime, but we wanted to stay up with everyone. Gautam read him a few books but he still didn't want to nap. Eventually we got him to sleep.
