Tons of moms have told me to try the pudding finger painting activity. We tried it this weekend as it was looking cold and a bit snowy outside. Erik really wasn't sure about it.
He hates to get his fingers dirty. I showed him what you can do with it, and licked my fingers. He still wasn't so sure. He did a few smiles and smudged his highchair and not the paper.
Then he complained some more so we took him out. So much for that. I think he would rather run around so we did that in the basement for awhile. Maybe tomorrow we will try to go swimming at Westside Rec Centre.
Erik was sick yesterday and was throwing up all afternoon while dad had him. We were worried it was going to be a sick weekend, but after throwing up about 15 times (every 15 minutes), he fell fast asleep at 10pm last night and slept through the night. We cautiously gave him water and toast for breakfast. By the afternoon, he was back to milk and was happy again. Yay!

This past spring, M spent only one night of puking: about 8 full hours. Another boy at daycare had the same violent flu the previous day for the same amount of time. It was harsh, but thankfully lasted such a short amount of time.
Has he painted in the tub yet? He might not like painting at all (yet). Next snowy day build a fort with pillows and let him jump around.
