Grandparents visiting

It's been unseasonably cold lately, right when grandma and grandpa are visiting. We go for 10 minute walks and then back inside.

Jansen and his mom came over on saturday for playtime. We tried on some Halloween costumes borrowed from a coworker. As soon as Jansen got his dragon costume on, he ran over to one of Erik's big toys and pushed it over. This scared Erik, and we thought Jansen looked like Godzilla so we all laughed. Poor Erik was crying.

Erik tried on the lion costume. I think it will work for Halloween.

Erik went for a nap and Jansen and his mom stayed for lunch.

The next morning we went to Canmore for breakfast. It was too cold to go outside and do much.

The Canmore museum and Civic Center was really nice, and Erik enjoyed running around in there.

We found Heidi and Howdy from the 1988 Olympics.

And Erik's grandparents got him a proper snowsuit for the winter. He also got a matching jacket.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we are having all the grandparents over for turkey and to celebrate my birthday and grandpa's birthday.

I like the snowsuit.
In some pictures Erik looks like he has no hair, but then you see he has a full on duck tail!
Thats funny about Jansen being godzilla....
