Spokane Road Trip

We started out the morning leaving the house at 4:00am and met Jansen's parents on the highway at 4:30 just outside of the city. We drove all the way to Invermere without stopping and had breakfast at Tim Horton's.

The boys were happy to be able to walk around freely before the next leg of the trip.

The best stop was in Sandpoint, Idaho at the beach of Lake Pend D'Oreille. It was beautiful out and we enjoyed Taco Bell lunch by the water.

The boys made themselves at home at the rented townhouse in Spokane. Harper and his parents flew into Seattle earlier in the week to visit relatives. They are driving in and should be arriving later tonight.

This is a view from the deck of the townhouse. Beautiful. The Bloomsday run takes place right down the ravine. Some of us are running it, and Jamie and I are going to walk it with Jansen and Erik. More on that on sunday!

Erik looks just as mature as Jansen! Such buds they are! Cute how Erik has his arm around him. It looks like he looks up to him. Have fun at the race! May the cutest babies and best moms win!

haha thanks Care. Yeah Erik holds onto Jansen for steadiness when he walks around him. Jansen doesn't mind, he is so mild tempered. Harper arrived last night so we shall see how all three get along!

That seems to me to be the best part of the first leg of the trip!
