Mormor and Morfar came over for Christmas dinner and gifts around 3:30 while the duck was in the oven. He loved all the gifts around him and watching everyone open the gifts. He was quite the clown and made all kinds of noises.
Erik got everything he needed from all kinds of friends and family. He says thank you! He was very sweet during dinner and sat in his playpen playing while we ate. At one point later on when he was in his jolly jumper, we were not paying attention to him and so he started to cry. Poor little guy. We immediately gave him some attention and he was happy again. 
The duck dinner was fantastic if I may say so myself. Mormor had a great recipe. It was a perfect Spence family first Christmas. We hope next year or in future years to spend it with Jamie's family too. It was nice to talk to them all on the phone.
We may join the boxing day mayhem and see if we can purchase a plastic christmas tree on sale and also look at some baby proofing items for the house as Erik will be mobile soon.
