Toes and Playing Strange

You know how babies discover their hands around 3 months of age? What is next after that? Their toes!! He has also learned that by curling up and arching his back forward, he can roll around and go on his side and reach for things this way and that.

We had a busy weekend! After the Christmas party, we dropped by a birthday party and Erik met a bunch of people. He now cries when being held by "strangers". Then on sunday I had some friends from my former workplace over for brunch and Erik played strange again with them. After that Erik and I went to Sam's baby shower across the other side of town and Erik test drove her new baby's crib at naptime. We really didn't watch any of the Grey Cup.

Today we are having a visit by Kevin, a friend of Jamie's in Powell River who is here on business and staying with us overnight. Jamie is in Dawson Creek again for the day so we are all meeting up for dinner.

We need to massively grocery shop today as well, even though tomorrow we are meeting with uncle Helge to go to Superstore together.
